Western Asiatic Cream Stone Cylinder Seal Figural Scene

CIRCA 1400-1300 B.C.

1 in. (5.82 grams, 27 mm).

With a frieze depicting a standing figure in a knee-length kilt, one arm extended towards a seated figure with a bent arm and perching bird; supplied with an old collector's record card and a museum-quality impression. [No Reserve]

Provenance

From the private collection of a European gentleman (1942-2024), formed since the 1970s.

Accompanied by a previous handwritten catalogue note card.
