A restrung designer necklace of fusiform, 'date', Venetian drawn glass rosetta beads, and other beads, some with longitudinal polychrome bands.
ProvenanceFrom the collection of a gentleman, acquired on the London art market in the 1990s.

Large Luristan Bronze Spearhead

With rounded shoulders and square-section mid-rib running to the tip; short tang. 185 grams, 43 cm
Acquired in the 1990s. Ex Abelita family collection. This lot has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database, and is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D'Amato.
The spearhead belongs to the type VI spearhead of the Khorasani classification. It is characterised by a long blade and short tang, slightly rounded shoulders and pronounced midrib. Similar weapons were excavated by Prof. Negahban in the royal cemetery of Marlik. -

Western Asiatic Terracotta Tripod Vessel with Elephants

With gently rounded and tapering sidewall to the shallow bowl, three integral tapering legs formed as stylised elephant-heads each with a long trunk and simple facial detailing; the flared ends of the trunks forming splayed feet. 2.9 kg, 31 cm wide
with a London, UK gallery 1971-early 2000s. Accompanied by an original thermoluminescence analysis report no.N123k2 from Oxford Authentication.
