82 1/2 x 25" (600 grams, 2.1 m x 64 cm overall; painting 85 x 45 cm).

A linen hanger with attached paper scroll with brush painting of a running horse, six columns of calligraphic text and two red chop seals; attributed to Xu Bei Hong (1895-1953) the modernising artist of the early 20th century. [No Reserve]

PROVENANCE:
Ex Li collection; acquired in the 1990s.
