VIKING SILVER-GILT PENDANT WITH ODIN GRIPPING TWO RAVENS
10TH-11TH CENTURY AD
1" (2.29 grams, 21mm).

A cast discoid Scandinavian Viking pendant with integral loop, pelletted border enclosing a low-relief image of a male face between two birds, grasped by arms at the necks, small loop to the top.

PROVENANCE:
Property of a German collector; acquired in the 1990s.
