7 1/2 in. (68 grams, 19 cm).
Triangular plaque with openwork decoration and stylised beast head finials, the lower six loops each with lozenge-shaped dangle, pennanular loop supporting cosmetic pin. [No Reserve]

From the private collection of a London gentleman, from his grandfather's collection formed before the early 1970s.

Remarkably similar to the famous brooch from Lamøen, Vestfold, Norway, the brooch retains much of its original gilding. -
