A pair of raven- head finials, each a bird's head modelled in the round with pellet eye and recurved beak; between the beaks, a suspension ring with ends wound round the shank, each one riveted to trichinopoly chain, middle section restored to form a wearable necklace.
PROVENANCE:
Property of a lady living in Kent, UK; formerly part of her grandfather's collection; acquired in Germany after WWII; thence by descent 2006.
