VIKING GILT-BRONZE TREFOIL BROOCH
9TH-10TH CENTURY AD
2" (37 grams, 53mm).

A cast trefoil brooch with pelletted border, discoid central boss and knotwork; slightly dished in profile, catchplate and pin-lug to the reverse.

PROVENANCE:
Found Saxby, Lincolnshire, UK, in 1978.
