A cast zoomorphic brooch with chamfered sides and ends, convex upper face, slightly waisted in plan; to the upper face a raised median ridge with ropework detail, flanking zoomorphic ornament with knotwork limbs and hatched panels; small hole to one end for attachment of a necklace or chain; to the underside, the pin-lugs and catchplate with ferrous accretion from the pin.
