CIRCA 9TH-11TH CENTURY A.D.
2 7/8 in. (30 grams, 72 mm).
Constructed from piled bone panels held with iron rivets; median D-shaped panel with teeth cut into the straight edge, faced by outer panels with incised wave-pattern detailing. [No Reserve]

The open end suggests that this is a blowing-horn rather than a drinking horn. -
