1 1/2 - 1 3/4 in. (23 grams total, 39-44 mm).
One bifacial tongue-shaped strap end with openwork scheme and punched ring-and-dot motifs; one composed of an openwork interlaced vegetal design. [2, No Reserve]

Featuring a scalloped handle with openwork scrolling tendrils, complete set of teeth below. 16.5 grams, 44 mm
Acquired 1980-2000. Ex property of an American collector.
Norsemen were particularly fastidious about their appearance. The hair and beard were important to the men, for making a statement and to intimidate their opponents. Early combs were made from antler or bone and carried in a small pouch; high status combs were later made from metal (mainly bronze) and have been found as grave goods. -
Viking Age Bronze and Crystal Pendant with Beast's Head

With fusiform hexagonal-section crystal bead modified for use as a pendant with the addition of a bronze collar bearing stamped 'bowtie' motifs attached to two lateral straps converging at the end to form a knotted and looped bail; finial formed as a beast-head with raised snout and piriform eyes, shallow flange ears, slanted muzzle; thick bronze wire suspension loop with ends twisted around the shank. 42.01 grams, 83 mm high

Of penannular form with convex outer face and geometric ornament to the body, likely zoomorphic terminal; child-sized. 26.6 grams, 50 mm

Similar bracelets were found in pairs on the remains of the left forearm bones of a female, in grave 83 of Hemlanden cemetery in Birka. These bracelets, as visible in this grave, were usually worn in pairs on both arms.
