8TH-10TH CENTURY A.D.

2 3/4 in. (41.9 grams, 71 mm).

With balustered stem, facetted conical body and ropework detailing to the rim; lateral vent to produce a consistent note. [No Reserve]

From the private collection of a London gentleman, from his grandfather's collection formed before the early 1970s.
