Viking Age Bronze Comb Pair
CIRCA 9TH-11TH CENTURY A.D.
3 7/8 - 4 in. (19.6 grams total, 9.8-10 mm).
Flat-section comb with lateral cut teeth; D-shaped head with flat shank and pierced lobe finial, teeth cut to lower edge; probably for textile production on a loom. [2, No Reserve]
