In a velvet-lined wooden case with brass snap-hinges; balance arm with handle and gnomon, two dished pans on chains; stand with screw-thread to base; socket with brass cap and threaded central hole; steel tweezers; seven brass cup weights marked as 1GM, 2 x 2GM, 5GM, 2 x 10GM, 20 GM; plastic case with milligram weights: 500, 2 x 200, 100, 50, 2 x 20, 10, 5, 2 x 2.
