Dated 1885. Young head with date below, dies ↑↓. Obv: with VICTORIA DEI GRATIA legend. Rev: crowned shield within wreath with BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID:DEF: legend. 14.11 grams.

Uncirculated, light contact marks, toned; rare thus.

PROVENANCE:
Part of an 1885 gold/silver year set recovered from beneath a foundation stone in Chatham some forty years ago (see other lots for the rest of these coins).
