Dated 1885. Young head with M below for Melbourne mint, dies ↑↓. Obv: with VICTORIA D:G: BRITANNIAR:REG:F:D: legend. Rev: St George and dragon with date 1885 in exergue. 7.97 grams.

Brilliant uncirculated, with minor abrasions.

PROVENANCE:
Part of an 1885 gold/silver year set recovered from beneath a foundation stone in Chatham some forty years ago (see other lots for the rest of these coins).
