Vespasian AR Denarius. AD 69-79.

Rome, mint; struck AD 77-78. CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head to right / CE-RES AVGVST, Ceres standing to left, holding two grain ears and poppy in right hand, sceptre in left. RIC I 968; RSC 54. Good Very Fine.(3.44gr, 17mm, 6h.).

From the collection of a London antiquarian, formed since the 1980s.
