Umayyad Caliphate, Time of Yazid I ibn Mu'awiya AE Fals. AH 60-64 (AD 680-683). 'Pseudo-Damascus' mint. Arab-Byzantine type.

Imperial figure seated on throne, holding long cross in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; star to left of head [and crescent to right?], in field to left, stylized bird on T-shaped porch; uncertain design above Є to right / Large m in centre; above, cross; in exergue, ΔΘM\; to left and right, [A] N O X Ւ II (date); in the angles of m, annulets. Cf. Goodwin&Gyselen p. 233, Fig. 104 (M instead of m; date and symbols). Near Very Fine. Extremely rare type.(2.98gr, 20mm, 2h.).
