Umayyad Caliphate AE Fals. Circa AD 685-690. Hims (Emesa) mint. Arab-Byzantine type.
Crowned imperial bust facing, holding globus cruciger; KAΛON downwards to left, 'bi-hims' in Arabic to right / Large cursive M above exergual line; star flanked by two wavy lines above, EMI-CHC (mintname) flanking, 'tayyib' in Arabic in exergue. Cf. SICA I 549-552. Near Very Fine.(4.60gr, 22mm, 11h.).
