Troas, Gergis AR Tetrobol. Circa 5th century BC.

Sphinx seated to right / Athena wearing Corinthian helmet to left; within incuse square. Unpublished in the standard references, but cf. Asia Minor Coins online #11089 (Sphinx with forepaw raised). Near Very Fine. Very rare.(1.51gr, 12mm, 9h.).
