Trajan AE Assarion of Poemanenum, Mysia. AD 98-117. ΕΓΔΙΚΟΣ ΦΡΟΝΤΩΝΟΣ (Egdikos, son of Fronton), magistrate.
[ΑΥΤΟ]ΚΡΑΤΟΡΙ ΚΑΙCΑΡΙ CΕΒΑΣΤΟ [...], laureate head to right / ΕΠΙ ΕΓΔΙΚΟΥ ΦΡΟΝΤΩΝ[...] ΠΟΙΜΑ, Dionysos standing to left, holding kantharos in right hand, left resting on long thyrsos; at his feet, panther to left. Unpublished in the major references; for a similar example cf. RPC III, 1657. Very Fine. Extremely rare; unpublished and apparently unique.(3.19gr, 17mm, 6h.).
