Hardback with leather spines, vol 1 with 696 pp, translated by John Edward Lee, 2nd volume containing 206 full-page black and white plates of ancient artefacts. [2, No Reserve]

The Lake Dwellings of Switzerland and Other Parts of Europe by Dr Ferdinand Keller is a foundational archaeological work documenting prehistoric stilt-house settlements, primarily from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages around Swiss lakes. It covers findings across Switzerland, including detailed descriptions of artefacts and building techniques, translated and expanded by John Edward Lee.
