6TH-5TH MILLENNIUM B.C.
3 3/4 in. (119 grams, 94 mm).

With pinched facial features, applied breasts, horizontal bands of pigment; restored from old and new pieces. [No Reserve]

PROVENANCE:
Acquired 1980-1990s.
From the private collection of H.N., Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, UK.
From the private collection of John Meredith, acquired since the 1990s; thence by descent.
This lot has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database, and is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D'Amato.
