Comprising mostly bifacial and uniface flint and chert arrowheads; probably from the Sahara region of North Africa. 100 grams total, 24-48 mm

Similar specimens of arrowheads have been found in the Eastern Sahara Region of Abu Tartur Plateau. Most of the arrowheads came from the El Jarar Neolithic, c. 7700-7300 B.P. (c.6500-6100 B.C.). Other parallels occur in the region of Kharga Oasis. -

Flint blade of above-average length and slimness (so-called "hache-ciseau") with almost parallel sides and circular cross-section; rounded cutting edge, roughly hewn, blunt neck; longitudinal grinding marks from manufacture, surface polished towards cutting edge; greyish stone (silex) with light spots; originally attached to a wooden handle, possibly with intermediary lining made of antler. 96 grams, 15.2 cm (198 grams total, 19 cm including stand)
