A large Acheulian cleaver-shaped hand axe with a sharp cleaver point on the distal end and a worked rounded base; continuous retouching to the edges. [No Reserve]

Discovered in 1967 at Erg Belfelfoul, Algeria.
From an old Hamburg, Germany collection.
