Southern Sogdiana Tribal Rulers, AR Obol. 1st century AD.
Diademed and bearded Parthian style bust of a king to left; around, traces of legend ('Kydr' (?) = Kidara in Sogdian) / Archer standing facing, head to right, holding bow in his left hand; all within circular incuse. HGC 12, 512; MIG 656 and 661. Very Fine. Toned.(0.33gr, 10mm, 12h.).
