South East Asian Peranakan Silver Wedding Pillow Bolster Plate
EARLY 20TH CENTURY A.D.
4 3/4 in. (7 7/8 in.) (31 grams, 12 cm wide (111 grams total, 20 cm high including stand)).
Of scalloped octagonal form with openwork floral ornament, incorporating a pierced band to the rim allowing mounting via threads to the pillow or bolster end-face; accompanied by a custom-made display stand. [No Reserve]

Acquired on the Singapore art market in 2002.
