Silver Ring with Green Jasper Calligraphic Gemstone
17TH-18TH CENTURY A.D.
3/4 in. (3.77 grams, 20.44 mm overall, 15.44 mm internal diameter (approximate size British I, USA 4 1/4, Europe 7.44, Japan 7)).
Composed of a slender round-section hoop expanding to chamfered shoulders and an oval bezel, set with a polished green jasper stone bearing a calligraphic Arabic inscription.

From a family collection formed 1900-1950; by descent circa 1980.
