Seleukid Empire, Seleukos II Kallinikos AE 16mm. Struck before the revolt of Antiochos Hierax, 246-225 BC. Magnesia on the Maeander mint.
Diademed bust of Artemis to right, bow and quiver over left shoulder / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣEΛEYKOY, Apollo standing to left, holding arrow and resting hand on grounded bow; monogram of MOP in outer left field, monogram of ME in outer right field; all within meander border. SC 670; HGC 9, 347. Very Fine.(3.74gr, 16mm, 1h.).
