Seleukid Empire, Demetrios II Nikator AR Tetradrachm. Dated SE 184 (AD 129/8 BC). Tyre mint.
Diademed and draped bust to right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ [ΔΗMΗΤΡΙΟΥ], eagle standing to left on prow, with palm frond over shoulder, to left, IEPA above club surmounted by Tyre monogram, to right, AΣY above ΔΠP (date), monogram between legs. SC 2195.2b; DCA 230; HGC 9, 1122. Good Very Fine. Areas of delamination and corrosion.(13.48gr, 28mm, 12h.).
