Seleukid Empire, Demetrios II Nikator AE 23mm. Circa 146/5 BC. Antioch on the Orontes mint.
Laureate head of Zeus to right / Apollo seated to left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting hand on bow; [ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ] ΔΗΜΗΤ[ΡΙΟΥ] in two lines to right, ΘΕΟΥ ΦΙΛΑΔΕ[ΛΦΟΥ] ΝΙΚΑΤΟΡ[ΟΣ] in three lines to left, [monograms] in exergue. HGC 9, 992. Very Fine.(11.94gr, 23mm, 12h.).
