Seleukid Empire, Antiochos III AE 17mm. 222-187 BC. Uncertain mint.
Macedonian shield with gorgoneion in central boss / [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ Α]ΝΤΙΟΧ[ΟΥ], elephant walking to right; [anchor(?)] above, monogram of ΓΑ(or ΠΑ)-in-circle below. SC -; cf. HGC 9, 490. Near Very Fine. Extremely rare; apparently unpublished and possibly unique with this monogram.(5.15gr, 17mm, 120h.).
