Seleukid Empire, Antiochos II Theos AR Tetradrachm. 261-246 BC. Seleukeia on the Tigris mint.
Diademed head of Antiochos I to right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ [A]NT-IOXOY, Apollo Delphios, nude but for chlamys draped from his waist, wearing laurel wreath and seated on omphalos to left, testing arrow with his right hand and resting his left on a bow leaning against the omphalos behind him; monogram of MATP to outer left and monogram of HPAE to outer right. SC 587.4c; ESM 190; HGC 9, 236g. Very Fine. Toned.(16.04gr, 27mm, 8h.).
