Seleukid Empire, Antiochos II Theos AR Drachm. 261-246 BC. Possibly Tralleis mint.
Diademed head of Antiochos II to right / [B]AΣIΛEΩΣ [A]NT-IOXOY, Apollo Delphios, nude but for chlamys draped from his waist, wearing laurel wreath and seated on omphalos to left, testing arrow with his right hand and resting his left on a bow leaning against the omphalos behind him; [monogram of ΟΨ to outer left] and monogram of ΤΑ to outer right. SC 535.1; HGC 9, 247a. Very Fine. Toned. Rare.(4.11gr, 17mm, 1h.).
