Seleukid Empire, Alexander I Balas AE 18mm. Circa 152-145 BC. Antioch on the Orontes mint.
Head of Alexander I to right, wearing lion skin headdress / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟY, Apollo standing facing, head to left, holding arrow and grounded bow; trident to outer left, monogram in exergue. Cf. SC 1795.3; HGC 9, 901. Near Very Fine.(5.08gr, 18mm, 12h.).
