Scythian, Imitative of Eukratides I AR Tetradrachm. 1st century BC.
Diademed and draped bust right, wearing horned Boiotian helmet, within bead-and-reel border / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔΟΥ in straight lines, Dioscuri on horseback charging right, with couched spears and holding palm branches, below, Δ in upper left field. For general type cf. HGC 12, 150. Very Fine. Dark tone. Unpublished in the standard references.(20.07gr, 34mm, 2h.).
