Scythian Gold Clad Rope Torc

11" (490 grams, 28cm).
A very large torc with ribbed shank, gold sheet over silver or bronze with tongue-shaped finials each with beaded chevron and ribbed panel.
Provenance
Property of a central London gallery; previously acquired prior to 1998, from a private collection formed during the 1980s. Accompanied by X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate number 00957-2018GJ.
