19 1/2" (2.2 kg total weight, 49.5cm including stand).

An iron short sword comprising a leaf-shaped blade with midrib, bow-shaped lower guard, flat grip and T-shaped pommel; mounted on a custom-made stand.

Provenance

From the family collection of a London gentleman; formed in the late 1940s-1950s; thence by descent.
