Scotland. Alexander III AR Penny. 1249-1286.

Second coinage; class A. Struck circa 1280-1286. + ALЄXANDЄR (ND ligate) DЄI GRA, crowned head to left; lis-tipped sceptre before / + RЄX SCOTORVM, long cross pattée; mullet of six points in each quarter. Cf. SCBC 5049. Very Fine.(1.33gr, 20mm, 2h.).
