Sassanian Stone Stamp Seal Collection
3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
1/2 in. (12.09 grams total, 12-14 mm).
Each plano-convex in form and drilled for suspension, engraved motifs to base including a winged horse, leaping quadruped, scorpion and an eagle with spread wings; stones including agate, haematite, a pink stone (possibly dolomite) and a mottled green stone. [4, No Reserve]
