For high altitude use, with a moulded dome with aluminium collar, lined internally and with latex and fireproof neck; fitted with clear plastic front visor with clamps, hoses and cables/earphones for air/oxygen and communications, with impressed '0451299' to rear.

WW2 James H Parker Typed Tank Crew Manuscript Memoir
20th century A.D.Sold for (Inc. bp): £91
A typescript soldier's memoir pencil signed 'James H Parker' on the last text page, running from 1940 to 1945 from induction into the British Army Royal Armoured Corps and Matilda tanks, via the D-Day invasions and across Europe until VE Day on 8th May 1945 at Linteg, Germany, with reference to a visit at Stalag 10b and a comment upon the conditions of the prisoners held there; with a number of poems, mostly with pencilled 'JHP' initials to each page of these; pages held in a small format ring binder. 405 grams, 22 x 18 cm
