1 1/2 in. (4.61 grams, 40.41 mm overall, 17.80 mm internal diameter (approximate size British L, USA 5 3/4, Europe 11.24, Japan 10)).
With D-section narrow coiled band with stylised scale detailing, raised head and tightly coiled tip of the tail. [No Reserve]

The Egyptian deity Pataikos is a special manifestation of the creator god Ptah, and the dwarf-like appearance symbolises his magical power. As a protective deity, amulets of Pataikos were worn for their apotropaic qualities; Pataikos was often depicted subjugating poisonous animals such as snakes and scorpions, and Pataikos amulets were probably worn to protect the wearer from such animals. -

Although lacking the title 'King's son', this shabti is probably for Prince Khaemwaset, offspring of Ramesses II, who was Sem-priest in the temple of Ptah at Memphis.
