Romano-Celtic Bronze Statuette of God Sucellos

2ND-4TH CENTURY A.D.

2 3/4 in. (36.7 grams, 69 mm).

Modelled in the round with luxuriant hair and beard, bare-chested with a short kilt and belt; left arm extended straight and right arm bent upwards. [No Reserve]

Provenance

From the private collection of a European gentleman (1942-2024), formed since the 1970s.
