Romano-British Enamelled Bronze Horse and Rider Brooch

2ND CENTURY AD

1 1/4 in. (3.45 grams, 33 mm).

With panels to the cloak and horse's body for enamel fill, notched outline to the hair and mane, pin and catchplate to verso.

Acquired in the 1980s-1990s.
Ex property of a German collector 2016.
Property of an Essex, UK, lady.
