ROMAN TERRACOTTA PLAQUE WITH HELMETTED FIGURE
1ST CENTURY A.D.
4 1/2 in. (176 grams total, 11.4 cm including stand).

Showing an advancing warrior wearing a helmet and holding a sword in his left hand; mounted on a custom-made display stand.

PROVENANCE:
Private collection, Switzerland.
Acquired by Galerie Rhéa, Zurich, from the above in 2002.
This lot is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D'Amato.
