3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
4 1/8 in. (58 grams, 10.6 cm).
Rounded body with large looped handle at the rear and long nozzle, D-shaped filler hole with raised rim, maker's mark on the base. [No Reserve]

The heavy proportions of the ring can date it to the late 1st century A.D. The gem could be contemporary, considering the wide use of the sardonyx in the Roman rings of the early two centuries of the Empire. -
