Roman Silver Trumpet Brooch

2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.

1 3/8 in. (8.17 grams, 35 mm).

With a chord, spring and pin, and a trumpet-shaped headplate; scooped collar to bow and discoid finial at base of flared foot with punched decoration; articulated pin intact; partial catchplate projecting from the reverse.
