ROMAN REARING HORSE STATUETTE
(Copper-alloy, 220 grams including stand, 120 mm. (horse only).).

Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. A cast bronze copy of a Macedonian horse and rider statue; the horse shown with forelegs raised, ears pricked and bound tail errect; the mane, reins and facial details carefully modelled; supplied with a custom-made display stand.
