Roman Military Bronze Chape with Horse Heads
CIRCA 4TH CENTURY A.D.
1 7/8 in. (16.5 grams, 47 mm).
Composed of two arching horse heads with annular eyes and notched manes, a small length of chain suspended from the lower edge.
