ROMAN - GOLD RING WITH 'WINGED FIGURE' INTAGLIO GEMSTONE
(6.73 grams, 19.85 mm overall, internal 16.74 x 17.62 mm.).

Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. A plain hoop of sheet gold with rounded shoulders, the bezel set with a light orange carnelian intaglio gemstone depicting a winged Victory facing left.
