11/4 - 1 3/8 in. (12.5 grams total, 32-37.6 mm).
Comprising: ellipsoid plate brooch with gilt border and central cell, pin-lug and catch to reverse; flat-section tweezers found in association with the brooch. [2, No Reserve]
ProvenanceFound whilst searching with a metal detector near Dullingham, East Cambridgeshire, UK, on Friday 13th December 2024 and Thursday 1st May 2025.

Hollow square in cross-section, with thin walls; terminals with copper-alloy plate soldered onto them; moulded lizard decoration to the upper face consisting of a low oval body tapering to a thin tail; head raised and short legs spread out from the body; small indentation either side of the head representing the eyes, linear engraved texture the body for scales; two perforated lugs at opposed corners. 29 grams, 48 mm
